The Rotary Club Marbella distinguished members and guests were delighted to attend this year’s edition of the Annual Charity Gala Dinner 2018 held at Finca de la Concepción on the 20th of July.

Dynamic Club President, Doña Saeko Hamada, received and welcomed each of the 400 guests, who helped support through their beautiful presence various charities such as Cáritas, Despertar sin Violencia, el Colegio Público de El Ángel o la Fundación Bastiano Breguese. Rotary Club Marbella contributes to help develop throughout the year local and international projects promoting solidarity work.

Among the attendees were representatives of other Marbella associations and numerous businessmen, businesswomen and select public figures. Count Rudi, Fernando Martinez de Irujo, Daniel Shamoon, Baldomero León, the delegate of the Rotary Club District governor, Alain Pierad, Antonio Belón Cantos, Mayca Campos Ambassador of Cudeca Madrid, Maika Pérez de Cobas, president of AECC Marbella, Dr. Hernán Cortés and Blanca de Castro from HC Marbella, Cecilio Moles, Meinrad and Nicole Busslinger as well as many others. KAMSYN Strategic Communications & PR founder Emile E. Issa also attended the event as active member of the Rotary Club Marbella and one of the many supporters of this year’s Rotary Charity Summer Gala.

The menu was prepared by Catering Lepanto and consisted of a cocktail and a three-course menu served at the table. Rotary Club Marbella Master of Ceremony Don Fransisco Romero Aguilar presented the Club activities and the program of the evening in addition to honoring longtime Rotary Club supporter for more than 33 years Doña Carmen Morales with a bouquet of flowers provided by L&N Design. During the dinner, attendees enjoyed the entertainment performance of ‘Hollywood Le Familea’, the dance of the children of Colegio Laude and the open bar vibes with the music of DJ Carlos Turolla.

Thanks to the raffle and auction more than eleven thousand euros were raised. A yearly party rendez-vous with a purpose of implementing the Rotary moto ‘Service above Self’.
